Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, July 2017, Day 1

Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture manages to create rumors, admiration and wonder. This is due to the exceptional outfits that are presented in each haute couture collection.

Between 2 and 6 July took place Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week and this year I had the honor to receive a series of invitations from fashion houses to participate in their shows. The first day started for me with a visit to the Louvre Museum where I just waited to see Leonardo da Vinci’s famous Mona Lisa. A short visit to this impressive museum was enough to remind me of the history of art I learned in school.

The beautiful part of a fashion week is the fact that you can discover that city because of the locations that every fashion house chooses to present their collections. Therefore, from the Louvre Museum I walked to the impressive Hotel Shangri-La. Polish designer Ewa Minge presented a collection inspired by Roma culture and Gypsy culture, with their music and traditions. The patterns have sculptured in several colors and layers, numerous details and accessories that evoked the rich and sophisticated world of this culture.

The first day of Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week ended on the hill where the great majority of Paris artists meet, Montmartre hill. The panorama that this hill overlooks on Paris is exceptional and the Sacre Cœur Basilica is a place not to be missed when visiting Paris.

The video of this day can be seen below and I am happy to tell you that Men’s Club provided my outfit.
