Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, July 2017, Day 4
The fourth day of Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week was for me the Asian day. After a well-deserved coffee on the Champs-Élysées near the Arc of Triumph, I could say that I had a perfect morning.
Returning to the Asian Day I mentioned earlier, the first presentation took place in the amphitheater of the Japanese House of Culture in Paris. The presentation was a come and go action for the models that dressed the Japanese autumn/winter collection 2017/2018, Yuima Nakazato. Nakazato’s inspiration was the past of the 1950s and his vision of future fashion trends and technology. It has a very good mix of video graphics explanations and each outfit.
About two hours later, I arrived at InterContinental Le Grand hotel for the fashion show signed by Chinese designer Lan Yu. She is considered one of the most influential designers of the moment in China. The patterns she have sculpted contain traditional Chinese elements but also haute couture specific ones, also.
Asian fashion day, if I could call it so, can also be seen in the video I prepared for the fourth day of Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week.
