The “Femme” of Pedro Juan Glez

With a manifesto for equality, freedom and the right to choose how each woman wants to dress, Spanish designer Pedro Juan Glez created the “Femme” collection. Feeric Fashion Week was the best opportunity to present the collection inspired by the social issues that women have, as well as whether they choose to be feminine or not.

As a manifesto for the support of women, Pedro Juan Glez proposes bold outfits with baroque influences. It is precisely these elements of the Baroque art that gave the colors of the ”Femme ”collection, tones of nude, pastels and gold with floral and metallic prints. The designer has also incorporated strong materials such as plastic and metal with hand-made paintings.

For the “Femme” collection, Pedro made a mixt between classicism and modernism with the techniques used, textures and unconventional materials. Because we talked about unconventionality, the woman who would feel this collection is independent, fearless, and not interested in what people around her think about her.
