“Nigredo” thoughts from Italo Marseglia
Italo Marseglia is an Italian designer who makes demi-couture creations as early as 2016. The talented designer presented the collection “Nigredo” at Feeric Fashion Week.
On the catwalk from Sibiu, Italo has translated into his collection a mystical air using a lot of black, like black magic, but also a powerful alchemy vibe with ingredients like the philosopher stone. Using innovative methods based on mathematical concepts, Italo develops special lines and shapes for his outfits. Structures fit any silhouette because of the materials he uses. The collection “Nigredo” has a lot of wool, pleats, crepes and details like jacquard or cotton used for shirts.
Marseglia created a truly black collection because of the dark inspiration but used to be a bit of white to have a strong contrast. If we talk about the woman who would enter in the story of “Nigredo,” she would be a woman who wants to show her femininity through black outfits with special textures.
