Passionate, fashionable and curious over art, fashion and style, I made journalism a kaleidoscope to a multitude of worlds. From articles, radio and TV shows, interviews with outstanding personalities from the world of international fashion and beyond, all converge with the joy of knowing and talking to new artists, dedicated designers, but also those from the beginning, famous musicians and actors, extraordinary people in the area of contemporary creativity.
I was born in Orastie, under the Dacia Mountains, in an area full of history for Romanian culture and civilization, and perhaps that is the curiosity for aesthetic sense, a quest for uniqueness and true values.
After a degree in Journalism, a master’s degree in Media Production and a doctorate in Communication Sciences with the topic “Television infotainment in today’s Romanian society. Communication – Entertainment – Information” plus many other advanced courses in communication and human rights in Strasbourg – France or Istanbul – Turkey, luck pushed me towards a career in television. Even if I was a presenter at various events or shows, the starting point for the small screen world was represented by Romanian Television (TVR1, TVR2, TVR3, TVR International and TVR Cluj) as a TV producer, then as a TV presenter at Look TV and Look Plus and now on Prima TV, where I moderate the fashion rubric “Așa DA, Așa NU!”, from the show “Flash Monden”.
I did not limit myself to television, so I had collaborations with various radio stations, but also with magazines or newspapers from Romania and Spain. Other achievements include an encyclopedia of journalism: “The History of Journalism in Romania in Data: Chronological Encyclopedia” where I was a co-author.
With a rich experience in the field of television and journalism, I have conducted personal interviews with fashion designers, fashion celebrities and artists in the music and film industry. The events that I hosted over the years have taken place both in the country and abroad, and the theme of these events has been very diverse.
Where have I been? All over Europe where there is a big festival and there is a talk of fashion and style. Nevertheless, I do not miss anything when it comes to Romania and it is time for Electric Castle, Untold, Media Music Awards, Transylvania International Film Festival, Elle Style Awards, Glamor Street Style Awards, Romania InfoFashion Festival or Miss Supranational – Mister Supranational.
The most extraordinary experiences as a celebrity and fashion journalist, I have lived in Paris for the Haute Couture Fashion Week or other big fashion events like Milan Fashion Week, Feeric Fashion Week, Serbia Fashion Week, Mercedes-Benz Malta Fashion Week, Balkan Fashion Week, A Shaded View on Fashion Movie. I did not limit myself to fashion weeks and for this reason, but also to the expertise in fashion, image and television, I was invited to be part of the jury for prestigious fashion film festivals such as: Sarajevo Fashion Film Festival, Croatia Fashion Film Festival or London Fashion Film Festival.
